Great "clam shack". All fish, especially lobster, comes straight from Maine. Baskets are a great deal. You can also get non-seafood items. Friendly service, too.

I got the seafood chowder and it was awesome. Just a little bit of broth and a great mix of white fish, scallops, and lobster filled the bowl. A meal by itself.

Love going here, but out of a lot of food. Surprisingly baked potatoes.

Always good service and the broiled haddock/fried oyster combo was just the ticket. My dinner guests raved about the New England freshness and authentic preparation.

Friendly wait staff, generous portions. Definitely feel like family here. Best restaurant in town. Even if you are not a seafood lover, they have delicious alternatives on the menu.

A very popular venue with a diner approach that appeals to an older crowd. The food is plentiful and well prepared. The menu ranges to single dinners like haddock to seafood casseroles with "landlubber" items as well. Many repeat customers attest to the popularity. The wait staffers are friendly and attentive. No cards accepted but an ATM is on site.

Service is fine. The concept is weird, eating lobster in a "cafeteria" style restaurant. No alcool, etc... it's a little bit weird. For the price, there's way better restaurant... My lobster was not the best.

EXCELLENT seafood in a friendly environment. Definitely get the twin hot boiled lobster special as it is a bargain. Also, they have whole clams with bellies not just strips. I'm so glad I found this place while on vacation!!!

Self seating service. They were busy on Good Friday so we waited to be seen to. We had a delightful waitress who was very polite. Food was served hot and fresh. Dessert was also good. They have a parking lot structure. Strictly cash only but they do have an atm in store.

Very good seafood. Don't let the ambiance turn you off. The people are friendly, and service is quick. You can call in/order to go if you don't feel like sitting in.

I have had take out once and that was fish and I loved it.

I had the Pot Roast my son the shrimp Both were very good, pricing is spot on with what you get. Soda is in cans, staff is super friendly.

I ordered online and waited for well over an hour for food. Called the store and the lady was extremely rude when I asked how much longer my food will be. She said, I can’t tell you. I asked if she could check and I heard the phone drop. She came back and said they are backed up, it’s going to be a while. She then said we aren’t affiliated with door dash and a said, “but I made an order at your place for food that I paid for” and she hung up on me. Never again!

NO credit card or debit card. Their own ATM didn't work. NO place to get any cash. NOT friendly. Acted like they were doing you a favor to serve you food.

Awesome and tasty seafood, simple and affordable, and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend it if you live nearby or just visiting the area. Be aware currently they only accept cash, no credit card payment

Really thought had a great find while camping nearby for a lobster roll without driving to Maine, but was very disappointed. Lobster salad roll perhaps. Lots of mayo, a few small chunks, but mostly shreds of lobster, for a price that would have suggested more. Clam chowder was rich but nosolace, fries decent. Waitress asked if I was talking about a hot buttered lobster roll, something I never heard of, but they seem to have this ready explanation. Fond anticipation entirely deflated, only the bill resembled the real thing.

I made the mistake of ordering a steak. It wasn't good. My husband ordered seafood and he said it was ok. Not worth the money.

First impression..clean and well taken care of. The waitress we had (Laura?) was so nice, and the food was excellent. Coming from people who spent the last 20 years getting fresh seafood on the coast..try it..you will love it. We will be sure to return again. Thanks for a pleasant experience.

A very disappointing lobster roll considering the reviews. It was among the more expensive I’ve gotten in Maine (and included no side whatsoever) but has no where near the flavor or amount of meat the others in it’s price range. The meat was a little chewy and absolutely flavorless to the point it was a little rough to finish. The lettuce (as another reviewer noted) makes it look like there’s more meat but once you take it out it is just a so so amount. I wouldn’t recommend it for lobster rolls to anyone but for ice cream and any other standard roadside fare it is likely better with a decent sitting area.

The very best lobster rolls to be had anywhere!! And the seafood chowder is fabulous too! No potatoes, just chock full of seafood.

Always the Best Food

I love seafood!Unfortunately, this place is nothing special. Mediocre breading, deep fried (a little over cooked) and not the best service I've ever had.I haven't tried many of the other menu items as I haven't felt the need to return.They are the only seafood place in town so they are going to get the business. If someone else opens up a restaurant and they put in a little bit of effort, they will clean up!

I really am leary about seafood amid the Virus

Fish was extremely dry and overcooked.

We ordered 2 lobster dinners for take out and they were delicious and perfectly cooked! I am from New England and know how it is to cook a lobster and these were perfection. Thank you Mainely Lobster for making our anniversary perfect! We miss having lobster and you made it possible! 😁

One the best place to have sea food in town

Great place to get your fresh seafood. Employees are very nice. What you get for what you pay is very reasonable. I would suggest everyone to at least try it once. I can guarantee you'll return.
